Thailand traces its history back to southern China in the Canton region. We recommend the best time to visit Thailand is from November through April. This is the dry season. Humidity is lower and the skies are blue. From April 13 through the 15, is the traditional Thai New Year, There is a water festival called “Songkran” that is the center of the holiday. The entire country celebrates this holiday by throwing water on each other. No matter how young or old you are, if you are out in the streets you will get soaked and you will have fun soaking others as well. You will see people with water guns, hoses, buckets of water, and even elephants on the streets blowing water from their trunks.
