For instance, let’s say a couple is in their early 40’s and they keep trying and trying but fail because the wife’s eggs are not viable any more. They could elect to use donor eggs, which would increase their odds tremendously. It is better than adopting. At least one parent has biological connection to the children. The same goes for a man. If his sperm is no longer good, the couple could choose donor sperm. So you see, sometimes, it is a matter of adjusting expectations.
