Since Bumrungrad hospital in Bangkok first received the country’s first JCI accreditation, there are now 15 hospitals in Bangkok that have also received the accreditation. JCI (Joint Commission International) is a non-government organization that has very stringent guidelines in accrediting hospitals. A hospital has to have high standards to receive accreditation.
